It is made of a 2-layer Gore-Tex Active laminate, which has a soft backing on the inside and a membrane on the outside. This forces water droplets to bead up and roll off the face fabric, so it won't become saturated. Thus, you'll be kept dry and comfortable! Mammut's Rainspeed Ultralight HS Jacket is a no-nonsense jacket that doesn't have all the bells and whistles commonly seen in other jackets. Still, it has a nice and snug-fitting hood, a chest pocket for your mobile that doubles as a stuff sack as well as reflective elements for better visibility! Note: Gore-Tex Active products were designed for highly aerobic activities without a lot of gear and thus only somewhat suited for wear with a backpack.
