Water bottles can be stored in the mesh pockets on the sides. Alternatively, water can be stored in a hydration bladder in the laptop compartment instead of a laptop. The backpack features a padded back system with adjustable shoulder straps. It can be attached to a column or pillar on one side using the Turn & Lock twist lock on the strap. This allows you to put it down without fear of thieves taking off with it. The zippers are solid and can be fixed in place with hidden carabiners.
