With the PHOENIX GTX® MID, LOWA introduces a lightweight hiking boot with the most modern design. This truly lightweight midcut boot will double the fun of simple hikes and long walks. That's because this innovatively conceived new product is impressively dynamic. Not only does the GORE-TEX® lining keep the boot waterproof, ensuring comfortable temperature regulation. But the upper of nylon mesh combined with suede split leather also reduces weight, whilst remaining stable and abrasion resistant. Just like the brand new, super lightweight Elika sole, it is designed for a variety of uses. The outsole's unique propeller-shaped knobby tread offers high, multi-directional grip and will win you over with its self-cleaning ability in wet conditions. To maintain the best traction on steep up- and downhill grades, this unique new outsole has siping made of an especially abrasion-resistant material under the toe and heel areas. With a midsole of lightweight PU, this comfortable hiker successfully finds a good balance between cushioning and stability.
