Perfect for warmer temperatures, but also changeable weather: the Hanwag Najera Mid GTX Surround!This agile hiking boot is equipped with a mid-height shaft and Gore-Tex Surround-Technology. This allows exceptional air circulation so that these boots have superb breathability. The hiking boots are waterproof in regular conditions, because the inside of the shoe is fully lined with a membrane of Gore-Tex Surround (like a sock). This means that moisture can effectively escape through the bottom of the shoe. Because of the high levels of transpiration from the soles, this technology allows exceptional comfort, even during high levels of activity. The vapour can escape through the foam midsole. There are no holes for vapour to escape, which would compromise the sole.The upper material is wear-resistant and comfortable, as is the outsole, which is tapered toward the front, allowing for the foot to move naturally, yet still providing cushioning for the heel.The Hanwag Najera Mid GTX is reinforced at the heel and toes, and is suitable for classic hiking in uplands with light luggage and for moderate length holiday trips.
