An ice axe you can rely on when it matters most - the Black Diamond Swift! This ice axe is incredibly strong and boasts a T-rated aluminium shaft! Thus, it's strong enough for technical sections of snow and ice and steep couloirs. Of course, the stainless steel head construction helps here as well. In order to make the pick lighter, Black Diamond equipped it with openings. The Swift's adze is perfect for digging a T-anchor or quickly shovelling snow out of the way.
What's more, it is equipped with an adjustable pommel, which will take the strain off of your forearms when climbing in very steep terrain.
