Developed for climbing at the highest level - the Beal Stinger III with the Golden Dry treatment. Thanks to its advanced Unicore construction, the sheath and core of the rope are connected to each other without sacrificing its characteristic smoothness. If the sheath happens to get cut open as a result of friction or contact with sharp rock edges, it will remain connected to the core - so no need to worry about the sheath shifting!
The Stinger III Golden Dry has a diameter of 9.4mm, and both the core and the sheath have been treated. This reduces the rope's water absorption in wet conditions, keeping it below 3%, which far exceeds the UIAA Water Repellent Standard. Versatile, lightweight and smooth, the Stinger III Golden Dry is best suited for sport climbing tough alpine routes in changing weather conditions and with occasional contact with ice!
