You may not believe it, but it’s true: The Papnu Chalk Bag from AustriAlpin only weighs 56 grams, which isn’t much more than a chicken egg. This is made possible by a special kind of paper from Europe. The chalk bag itself is made in Austria. Despite its low weight, the fabric is very abrasion resistant and fit to take on the rock. The material is waterproof, vegan and can even be washed in the washing machine. The interior of the chalk bag is fitted with neoprene, which prevents chalk getting in between the inner and outer material. The neoprene also helps to distribute the chalk evenly in the chalk bag and on your hands.
If you’re trying to keep weight to a minimum, the Papnu is an excellent choice.
