A reliable and comfortable tent for two people - the Alaska 2.235 PU from Tatonka is a roomy tunnel tent with one vestibule. It is set up using two 7001 aluminium poles and three entrances. The side entrance in the vestibule can be closed using a separate mosquito net to prevent any pesky insects finding their way inside. Plus, it provides some extra ventilation to keep fresh air circulating on the interior. There are also two additional vents on the fly that can be operated from the inside. That way, you can prevent a build up of condensation. The fly is made of 75D polyester with PU coating and a hydrostatic head of 8000 mm. The 70D polyester floor has a hydrostatic head of 10000 mm, so it is very durable and built to keep water out. All the seams are sealed to keep long-lasting rains out. The Alaska 2.235 PU is very sturdy as well, even in strong winds. The reflective guy lines make the tent easy to pitch and can be stored nicely using the storage loops. The tension points have been reinforced with webbing loops for increased durability as well.The 235cm inner tent is very long, making it perfect for taller individuals. The two entrances makes it easy to enter the tent from different sides. You can use the clothesline in the inner tent to hang up wet clothes. For storage, there are various pockets on the sides for all the small essentials you may want within your reach.
