If you want more safety on via ferrata routes, have a look at the Austrialpin Hydra.Evo! The via ferrata set complies with the 2017 standards and is perfect for lighter individuals. The highlight is that the set comes with the additional Ferrata.Bloc system, which, when used properly, will prevent a long fall back into the last fixation of the wire. During flat and easy sections, you can put the ferrata.bloc into a pocket and use it as a back-up during more difficult sections.
Both of the Colt carabiner are easy to use and offer excellent handling with their caliper-like opening, making it easy to clip and unclip. The long gate will allow for a good distance between your fingers and the steel cable, preventing your fingers getting pinched. The sound absorber makes for quieter clipping, and the elastic Y lanyards allow for plenty of freedom of movement whilst climbing. The energy absorber is stored in an unobtrusive pocket.
