The CrossBow 2 R/S from SlingFin is a versatile 3-season tent for trekking trips under harsh conditions. The CrossBow R/s owes its name to the tough rip-stop nylon material used for the inner tent and fly designed to provide protection in bad weather and windy conditions. So, when the weather is fair, you can pitch the tent without the fly. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, this set up is particularly useful because it ensures that the interior will stay dry. The fly itself is made of weather-resistant, silicone and PU-coated polyamide, so it's got you covered no matter the weather!

The special thing about the CrossBow 2 R/S configuration is its WebTruss setup. This has two diagonal pole sleeves for the lightweight DAC aluminium poles and can be set up easily, even in windy conditions, because it offers virtually no wind resistance. Once this bit is up, the inner tent and fly can be clipped to it in no time at all. For additional stability, you can attach two walking poles to the ridge pole as well, but this is not necessary. However, it will result in less flutter in windy conditions and give your tent more stability in stormy conditions.
